Life Jacket Program

Two small children holding hands in the river, wearing LFD Life Jackets.

The Lebanon Fire District provides free, single-day use life jackets at three locations in Lebanon. Life jacket kiosks are located at both boat ramps in Waterloo Park, and the boat ramp at Gill's Landing. Borrowers must fill out a waiver form prior to use and return their life jacket to the kiosk before leaving the park.

Life jackets range in size from infant to adult large. They are all red and blue, and stamped with the LFD logo and jacket number. In 2020, we received a generous donation from Coastal Farm and Ranch in Albany, supplying us with several blue children's sized jackets.

LFD is not able to accept donations of life jackets. Please do not leave personal life jackets in the kiosks. If citizens want to contribute to the program, they can make a tax-deductible donation to the non-profit LFCAIRS at 1050 W. Oak St. Lebanon, OR 97355.
