Lebanon Fire Community Assistance and Initial Relief Service (LFCAIRS)
The Lebanon Fire Community Assistance and Initial Relief Service, better known as LFCAIRS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.  Our organization is made up of members and supporters of the Lebanon Fire District. Our mission is to support a variety of community functions and to meet emergent and non-emergent needs of members of the community. Some examples of how we utilize our funds are the purchase of safety equipment for children, such as bike helmets, and glow sticks at Halloween so they can be seen, financial assistance to victims of fire loss, and financial and logistical support for people in crisis and need.  We also serve those traveling through our area that may be in a crisis situation. If you would like to make a donation please make your check payable to LFCAIRS and send it to Lebanon Fire District at 1050 W Oak Street, Lebanon OR 97355.  If you are interested in joining us to make our community a better place to live, we would encourage you to attend a meeting, or help out with some of the fund raising events that we do during the year. The LFCAIRS meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month and rotate between Station 31 at 1050 W Oak Street and Station 34 located at 4000 Weirich Dr at 5:30 PM. If you would like more information about the program or an upcoming meeting please feel free to contact the Lebanon Fire District at 541-451-1901.

Linn County CERT
Linn County is a part of the national network of CERT communities.  The Linn County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program educates people about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organizations, and disaster medical operations.  CERT members can assist others in their neighborhood or workplace following an event when professional responders are not immediately available to help.

The basic CERT course will include those components necessary to get you started and capable of performing basic CERT functions.  Each member must complete 16 class hours to become certified.  The course covers Disaster Preparedness, Team Organization, Disaster Psychology, Medical Operations, Damage Assessment, Fire Suppression, and Light Search and Rescue. Classes can be scheduled to accommodate a variety of needs.  Contact the local CERT Program Manager, Vickie Myers at (541) 829-9321 or cert.training@hotmail.com.
