The Lebanon Fire District is accepting applications for the position VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTER.
Minimum Requirements:
- Candidates must pass an application process, drug screen, background check, oral interview, physical agility test, and a NFPA 1582 Physical to be accepted into the program.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age by the 1st day of their Entry Level Firefighter 1 academy and provide Lebanon Fire District with documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
- Candidates must possess and maintain a valid Oregon Driver’s License and be insurable by Lebanon Fire District’s insurance carrier and/or any Participating District’s insurance carrier, as applicable.
- Candidates must have weekends available to complete Firefighter 1 academy.
- Candidates must obtain all State of Oregon Mandated vaccines.
- Candidates must live in our Fire District.
- District Issued PPE and Uniform.
- Per call Stipend and Length of Service Retirement Benefit.

Minimum Requirements:
- Candidates must pass an application process, drug screen, background check, oral interview, physical agility test, and a NFPA 1582 Physical to be accepted into the program.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age by the 1st day of their Entry Level Firefighter 1 academy and provide Lebanon Fire District with documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
- Candidates must possess and maintain a valid Oregon Driver’s License and be insurable by Lebanon Fire District’s insurance carrier and/or any Participating District’s insurance carrier, as applicable.
- Candidates must have weekends available to complete Firefighter 1 academy.

- Candidates must be enrolled in a college/university.
- Maintain 12 credits a term with a minimum GPA of 2.50.
- Tuition Reimbursement up to $3,500.00 a term
