Fire & Life Safety Inspections

Inspector

As part of our commitment to the safety of our community, the Lebanon Fire District performs Fire & Life Safety inspections at all commercial occupancies (local businesses) on a regular basis. With over 900 commercial occupancies within out district, our inspection program is one of most important responsibilities. There is no charge for the primary inspection or the follow up inspection to determine that violations have been corrected.

All of our shift personnel are certified Company Inspectors by the Office of the Oregon State Fire Marshal to conduct inspections in business and mercantile occupancies. Our Fire & Life Safety Division staff are nationally certified to conduct inspections in larger and more complex industrial, educational, and institutional facilities.

By using both shift and Fire & Life Safety Division personnel the Lebanon Fire District is able to conduct over 1,400 inspections annually, eliminating thousands of fire and life safety hazards while educating business owners and operators on how to incorporate fire safety into their daily routines.
