Fire Chief Joseph Rodondi in Class A Uniform

Chief Joseph Rodondi was appointed Fire Chief of the Lebanon Fire District on December 1, 2019. He began his fire service career over 30 years ago when he joined the Foster City Fire Department as a Volunteer Firefighter. Later that same year he accepted the position of Firefighter with the City of San Bruno where he served for 12 years.

In 1997, Chief Rodondi accepted the position of Firefighter Paramedic with the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department (LPFD). During his tenure with the LPFD, he completed all the necessary academic and training required to promote through the ranks of Engineer, Captain, Battalion Chief and Deputy Chief.

Chief Rodondi attended the College of San Mateo, where he earned an Associate of Science Degree in Fire Science, the University of Phoenix where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management, and holds several professional certifications from the California State Fire Marshal’s Office. He is also a member of the International Fire Chief’s Association.
