Before burning outside, contact the Linn County Burn Line at 541-451-1904 or click HERE.  The number will connect you with an automated message that is updated daily and informs you whether or not burning is allowed.

If you are located in the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) Protection Area you are required to obtain permission to burn through ODF.

Use this interactive map to determine if you live in the ODF Protection Area. Please note that you will need to use the zoom feature to locate your home or property, and then click on your location on the map. A banner will appear on the left-hand side of the screen which will either give you the current fire danger, or state that you are out of ODF protected areas. If the fire danger levels appear, you are in ODF Protection Area and need to follow their regulations.
